Who we are

Teal We Find a Cure was established in 2021 as an Australian not-for-profit fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds for Ovarian cancer research for the Westmead Institute of Medical Research (WIMR).

Founded by a husband and wife team, following a personal ovarian cancer diagnosis in 2017, Teal We Find a Cure was born from lived experience and a deep understanding of how silent and devastating this disease can be. Ovarian cancer often presents with vague symptoms and is frequently diagnosed late, making awareness, early detection, and research critically important.

Through Teal We Find a Cure, we are committed to raising awareness, funding life-saving research, and advocating for earlier diagnosis. What began as a deeply personal journey has grown into a shared mission — one driven by hope, resilience, and the belief that together, we can change outcomes and help find a cure.
